Tomasa Dominguez Ramirez
Tomasa Dominguez Ramirez, 88, passed away at home on August 28th 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Cuernavaca, Morelos Mexico on December 26th 1931, the daughter of Marcelino Dominguez and Dolores Ramirez. She was a wonderful sister to eleven siblings. She was the loving mother of her 8 children Eva, Alfonso, Leticia, Ismael, Beatriz, Miguel, Juana and Blanca. She was the dear grandmother of 20 grandchildren and the precious great grandmother of 17 great grandchildren. Tomasa arrived in Chicago in 1975 with her beloved husband, Ismael Olivier. When her daughter Leticia passed, Tomasa raised two of grandchildren as her own daughters, Evelyn and Ariana. She was lovingly known to all those that knew her simply as “Mamá”. She made fantastic Mexican dishes that were famous amongst family and friends, most notably her “pozole”. She was a loyal parishioner of St. Francis De Sales Church and was powerfully devoted to her Catholic faith. She was predeceased by her husband Ismael, her daughter Leticia and her son Ismael Jr. A service of her remembrance will be held from 3pm – 8pm on Tuesday September 1st at Sadowski Funeral home, 13300 S.
