Randy F. Miotk “Lurch” age 61 of Hegewisch passed away peacefully on October 15, 2019. Randy dedicated 30+ plus years of his life as a meticulous painter in the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades Local 184. He will be fondly remembered by his family and friends as an avid Cubs and Blackhawks fan. They will remember watching games with him as he would crack jokes or yell at the awful calls. Randy enjoyed spending time at Wolf Lake, fishing with his grandchildren and watching the geese with his wife. His family will miss hearing him tell stories that were told with his comical sense of humor, and left you shaking your head. Beloved son of late Kenneth and Jeanette Miotk, loving husband of LuAnn Miotk (nee Larson), cherished father of Jessica (Matthew) Miotk, Aaron (Danielle) Miotk, Karen (Stephen) White, Kelley (Richard) Farias, and Kristen (Noel) Verdi. Loving brother of Ken (MaryAnn) Miotk, dearest grandfather of Jacob, Samantha, Lillith, Lorelei, Olivia, Gabriel and Riley. Visitation will be on Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 3 PM until 8 PM at Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch, 13300 S. Houston Ave. Chicago, IL 60633 (773-646-1666). Prayer service to commence at 7 PM. Interment Private. Randy will be dearly missed by family and friends.
