Obituary

Ramon Vazquez Ledezma was called home to our Lord on August 13, 2021. Ramon was born on September 20, 1954, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, MX. He was born to Antonio Vasquez Reyes and Juana Ledezma Navarro. Ramon lived in Chicago for a period of time before moving to Houston, TX with his loving wife Carmen at the age of 21. He lived with his wife, step-kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He lived life surrounded by family and love, and worked hard to provide for his family. When he would go on drives, he would always reminisce about his time spent working construction on the freeway. When looking at Ramon he would always look serious, but that was never the case. Every phone call was always answered with “Que paso?”; he loved to talk and joke with friends. Ramon often enjoyed drinking his bud light, smoking his Marlboro 100’s and spending time in the casino trying to win the big Jackpot, and playing lottery with the family. He lived his last moments peacefully in Chicago surrounded by his sisters, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

Ramon you will always be in our hearts forever. We love and miss you already, we will always remember you by Sergio’s question “Otro cigarrito Ramon?”

Ramon is survived by his stepchildren: Sisto, Ruben, David and Cynthia Amador, his Grandchildren: Vanessa and Elizabeth, his Great-Grandchildren: Nicholas and Giada Carmen, his Siblings: Antonia, Juana Alicia, Patricia, Ruben, Martha, and Alejandra Vazquez, his In-laws: Leonel, Jose Guadalupe, Rocio, Mario, and Alfredo, and his Nieces and Nephews: Rafael Jr. Manolo, Gabriel, Daniel, Fabian, Amanda, Mayra, Aaron, Miriam, Juan Ramon, Roberto, Melissa, Andres, Jose Luis, Gerardo, Danira, Adrian, Fernando and Sergio.

Beloved son of late Antonio Vasquez Reyes and late Juana Ledezma Navarro. Loving husband of late Carmen Amador.
