Lucio Solis Obituary

Lucio "Chio" Solis was born in León, Guanajuato Mexico on October 19, 1948. His parents were late Jose Solis and Maria Refugio Munoz Sanchez. Lucio had 7 siblings. His sisters: Imelda and Justina. His brothers: late Antonio, Manuel, Paulino, Amalio, and Jose.

           He moved to Chicago from Mexico in 1976. at the age of 28, with his wife late Maria Solis. He loved to listen to music and singing his heart out. Anyone who knew him, he loved to make people laugh and loved to crack jokes. His humor was one of a kind, he never like to see anyone down. If you got the opportunity to meet him it was no doubt he brighten up your day. Everyone who knew , knew that Lucio "Chio" was the go to mechanic when anyone had problems with their vehicles or for any handy work. Lucio was always there when anyone needed a hand.

Lucio was diagnosed with Colon Cancer Stage 4 in January 2020.

Lucio Solis passed away, Thursday on April 15th. Lucio was reunited with his two beautiful women, his wife late Maria Solis and daughter late Claudia Solis.

                 Lucio was the loving husband to late Maria Solis. Beloved father to late Claudia, Jose, Ricardo, Rudy and Giovanni. Dearest grandfather to his 7 beautiful grandchildren Lucy Solis, Jose G Solis Jr, Yazmin I Solis, Leah Solis, Christina Solis, Rudy Solis Jr, and Crystal C Solis. Great grandfather to Melanie Iniguez and Aubrey Iniguez. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a person so full of life. We will miss him dearly and cherish all the memories we have for years to come. This is not a goodbye but a see you later!❤️
