Irene Lemus Ramos

Irene Lemus Ramos age 43 of the East Side passed away on February 6, 2021. Irene was born in Yuriria Guanajuato Mexico. Her family then came to the United Stated where she was raised on the East Side of Chicago. Irene was a devoted mother and she adored and cherished her children. Everything she ever did or strived to do was for her family. Her boy's Israel “Ray”, and Daniel “Tino” were her pride and joy. Irene loved to cook, and everyone would always boast and state how great her cooking was; It could have been because everything she cooked was made with love. She enjoyed singing and dancing and her family would call her the life of the party, and her smile would light up a room. Irene dedicated 7 years of her life to helping underprivileged families at The Department of Human Services.  She was a devoted employee, and her employer would attest that she was always ready to tackle any  assignment or obstacle with great ease and grace. She was very humble and helpful. Irene was a very carrying person as well as a nurturer to all that she came across.  

Beloved daughter of Reinaldo and Alma Lemus. Loving wife of Israel Ramos for 22 years of marriage. Cherished and loving mother of Israel Ramos "Ray" and Daniel Tino "Danny". Adored sister to Leticia (Salvador), Gabriel (Patricia), Susana (Jesus), Liliana (Hector). Cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews. Loyal friend to many.

Arrangements entrusted to Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch: 13300 S. Houston Ave. Chicago, IL 60633 (773-646-1666). Visitation for Irene will be on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 3 PM until 8 PM. Prayer service to commence at 6 PM. Interment Private.
