Humberto Ornelas age 57 of South Chicago passed away on January 18, 2021. Humberto was a hard working man, and worked for the City of Chicago as a motor truck driver for over 10 years. He was known to be a loving and caring person and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved to dance, and always had a smile on his face. Humberto also lived as a spiritual man and was involved in many church activities.
Beloved son of Rafael and Catalina Ornelas. Loving and devoted father of Jasmin Ornelas and Priscilla Ornelas and cherished significant other of Alicia Garcia. Beloved brother of Maricela Diaz (Jose Luis Diaz), Ernesto Ornelas (Margarita Ornelas), Guadalupe Vasquez, Rafaela Verdin (Juan Luis), Susana Falcon (Senon Falcon), and Lorena Ornelas (Marco A. Aranda). Loving uncle of Nestor, Emilo, Maximiliano, Liliana, Adam, Christopher, Cameron, Zachary, Brittany, Ian, Madison, Maximus, Gabriel, Veronica, Cinthia, Christian, Erica, Mathew, Tatiana, Nayeli, Javier, Abigail, Aaron, Nathan, Marco Jr., Jacob and Melina.
Arrangements entrusted to Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch: 13300 S. Houston Ave. Chicago, IL 60633 (773-646-1666). Visitation for Humberto will be on Monday, January 25, 2020 from 3 PM until 8 PM. Prayer service will be held at 7 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2020 from 9 AM until 10 AM. Prayer service to commence at 10 AM for 11 AM Funeral Mass at St. Kevin’s Church of South Chicago: 10509 S. Torrence Ave. Chicago, IL 60617. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL.
