Eduardo “Lalo” Barajas
June 3rd 1994 – December 31st 2022
On Saturday, December 31st, 2022, known as Lalo, a lifetime resident of the Hegewisch neighborhood in Chicago unexpectedly passed away at the young age of 28. His family and friends are deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death. He will be truly missed. Lalo was one who relished and enjoyed his extracurricular activities. He had this keen eye for the arts, he enjoyed listening to tunes of all kinds from Cumbias, Rock, and Hip Hop/Rap. He had this superb taste of the rarest herbs and spices, a nostalgic scent that would remain when he left the room, and a contagious laugh that carries on through his nephew. Most rememberable, he had a kind and loving hand where he would help anyone in unfortunate situations. Even if he had to give the clothes off his back, he would. Lalo was also a huge sports fan, closely following the NBA, MLB, and NFL leagues. Not to mention being a huge Cubs fan and Cheese head. Lalo is survived by his parents Jose Barajas and Hernestina Porras; his sister Maria Barajas, nephew Ismael Almanza, and Victor Almanza who is considered a brother, along with a countless number of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends that he called family. Please help us pray for Lalo’s safe journey to everlasting life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to https://gofund.me/f0dd042a.
