Beatriz (Dona Tiche) Morales was born in Durango, Mexico in 1933. She passed away comfortably surrounded by family on February 10, 2022. Beatriz was a long-time resident of South Chicago. She worked many years as a cook in Mexican restaurants. She was known for having the best tasting Gorditas in South Chicago. In her later years, she worked as a Home Care Aide, where she cared for seniors and children with disabilities.
Loving mother of late Jorge Quijano, late Rosa Y. Lujen, late Armando Quijano, Martha (Manuel) Ruiz, Luis Alfredo Quijano, and Aurora (Tomas) Aguilar. Cherished grandmother to Luis, Rosa, Ludivina, Samantha, Josephine, Eva, Bernardo, Paloma, Faviola, Ana, Juan, and Bassam. Loving great-grandmother of 18 children, and great-great-grandmother of two children. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. True friend of many.
Arrangements entrusted to Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch: 13300 S. Houston Ave., Chicago, IL 60633 (773-646-1666). Visitation for Beatriz will be held on Monday, February 14, 2022 from 5 PM until 8 PM. Prayer Service to commence at 6 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM. Prayers from chapel at 10 AM for 11 AM Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church of South Chicago. Interment schedule to be announced.
