Armando Ivan Martinez age 30 of South Chicago passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020. Armando was loved by many people, he had friends everywhere he went. He had a good heart and will be deeply missed. The light of Armando’s world was his daughter Chelsie, and had an unbreakable bond with his mother Rosaura. Loving son of Rosaura and Fernando Martinez. Loving and cherished father of Chelsie Martinez. Beloved brother of Anais Martinez, Elizabeth Martinez, Rosa Paniagua, and Fernando Hernandez. Visitation for Armando will be held on Friday, June 5^th, 2020 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch: 13300 S. Houston Ave. Chicago, IL 60633 (773-646-1666). Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 6^th, 2020 from 10 AM until 11 AM. Prayers from Chapel at 11 AM for 12 PM Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church of South Chicago. Interment following Funeral Mass at Holy Cross Cemetery of Calumet City.

I hope my brother that you are now at peace and watching down on us. We love you. We are broken, our hearts are full of sorrow. He leaves behind a beautiful daughter Chelsie and a grieving family his sisters Elizabeth Martinez, Anais Martinez, Rosa Paniagua, his brother Fernando Hernandez,  his beloved mother Rosaura Hernandez. We are trying to come to terms with this unbearable loss. My brother, my little brother you had so much more life to experience; so much more love to receive; so many more obstacles to overcome; so many dreams and wishes to fulfill. You are a part of me, I wish I could be there with you.
