Thomas "Digger" Smitka age 71 of Calumet City passed away on October 19, 2020. Digger was an avid Nascar fan and had a passion for riding motorcycles. Digger was a Journeyman Mechanic and Millwright and enjoyed his work. He retired from Myjack Corporation after many years of service. Thomas is survived by his loving life-long partner Dawn Lewakowski. Beloved dad of Trisha and Scott, and dearest grandpa of Tyler and Corey Jr.
