Theodore F. Glinski age 87 of Hegewisch formerly of South Chicago passed away on March 14, 2017. Theodore was a retired manager from US Steel South Works and Gary Works after 38 years of service, he was also a veteran of the US Marine Corp. Theodore was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, he enjoyed spending his time with family and friends. Loving son of late Lawrence and Josephine Glinski, beloved husband of Burnette Glinski (nee Thurber), loving father of Joseph (Elizabeth) Glinski, Sharon (Mark) Skertich, late Theodore Jr. Glinski, Julie (Patrick) Babusch. Cherished grandfather of Andrea, Tina, Mark Jr., Jessica, Tanya, Ashley, Haley and Sierra. Dearest great-grandfather of Ellie, Sadie, Emma, Reagan, Josalyn and Kylie. Loving brother of late Fritz, late Eddic, late Midge, late Kayo, late Spud, late Virginia and late Jane. Visitation will be on Thursday March 16, 2017 from 4 PM until 8 PM at the Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch 13300 S. Houston Ave. Chicago, IL 60633 (773-646-1666). Inurnment Holy Cross Cemetery. Theodore will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
