Salvador Ramirez, 84, late of South Chicago Heights and formerly of South Chicago (Slag Valley Area). Beloved husband of late Maria Guadalupe (Torres) – married in 1964. Loving father of Joseph Salvador (Rosario), Carlos Humberto (Rosa) and Ruth Olympia (Jose Luis) Mercado. Cherished grandfather of Meagan (Moncho Cruz), Carlos Jr., and Gerardo Salvador. Dearest great grandfather of four. Salvador is preceded in death by his parents Gregorio and Salome. Salvador was the eldest of 15 siblings. Salvador worked as a welder in structural and ornamental company 30 plus years. Post retirement helped many with raw iron fences, railings, gates.  He became a US Citizen. He enjoyed music, dance, baseball (Cubs fan) and cherished life as a Jehovah's Witness his last 20 plus years drawing people of all ages to him.
