Raul Velasquez Raul Velasquez age 59 of the East side passed away on January 21, 2019. Raul was a loving, caring person that was devoted to his family and friends. He had a passion for cooking and was very good at it. Raul enjoyed dancing and was always honored to give people words of wisdom. Loving son of late Antonio and Esperanza Velasquez. Treasured husband of Mary Velasquez. Adored father of Ruby, Esmeralda and Perla Alejandrina. Beloved grandfather of Ruby, Jose Luis, Lili Amber, Jason Robert, Angelica, Jay Joe, Pearl Mary, Angelo Raul, Carmen Alma Rosa, Angel Alexander, Jesse Ramon, Violet and Antonio. Cherished great-grandfather of Elijah Noel.  Visitation will be on Sunday, January 27th, 2019 from 3 PM until 8 PM at Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch 13300 S. Houston Ave., Chicago, IL 60633 (773-646-1666). Funeral Service will be on Monday, January 28th, 2019 from 7:30 AM until 8:30 AM. Prayers from chapel at 8 AM for 9 AM Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church Of South Chicago. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City.

Raul will be deeply missed by family and friends.
