Pablo Rodriguez, 95 left this world peacefully on January 15, 2026. He was accompanied by his son Ruben and goddaughter Marisol at his home in Calumet City, Illinois. Pablo Rodriguez was born on November 12, 1930, in Jamay, Jalisco Mexico, the son of Angel Rodriguez and Maria Del Rosario Padilla de Rodriguez. He grew up in Jamay and Guadalajara where he developed a hard work ethic and a deep love for his family.

He was a loving husband to Amelia Rodriguez for nearly 75 years. Their love for each other was obvious to all who met them. He was a good provider and there was nothing he wouldn't do for his family. Together they raised three children: Pablo Jr, Maria Elena (Nena) and Ruben. He was a dedicated father, always there to provide guidance and love. He enjoyed taking family vacations to Mexico where he himself had family.

Pablo Rodriguez truly enjoyed playing soccer. He even would brag that he almost played semi-pro soccer. He enjoyed playing until he couldn't safely run. He was the widower of Angela Rodriguez, his children Pablo (late Olga) Rodriguez, Jr, (late) Mary Ellen (Lawrence B.) Campos and Ruben Rodriguez, 7 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren.
