~ In Loving Memory ~

Martha E. Zuniga age 56 of South Chicago, passed away on May 11 ^th , 2020. Martha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend to many, and so much more. She loved her life, and all the people that made it complete. Those who knew Martha knew she couldn't contain herself with pen and paper at reach, since she enjoyed writing and drawing so greatly. Martha was also known to dance, and once the music started playing, she couldn't stand still. She was known to move to the groove, and made sure others were as well.

Martha enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. She loved nature and animals, and her heart was big enough to find beauty in all the world had to offer. Martha and her true love and lifelong partner Javier Serrano Sr. remained married for over 40 years. They were a perfect match, and true partners in crime.

Loving mother of Javier Serrano Jr., Guadalupe Serrano, Porfirio Serrano, Miguel Serrano, and Luis Serrano. Beloved grandmother of Meredid, Ashley, Amilia Rodriguez, Stephanie Serrano Casas, Angela Serrano, Emiliano Serrano, and Leonardo Serrano. Fond and devoted friend to many.

Visitation for Martha will be on Friday, May 15, 2020 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch: 13300 S. Houston Ave. Chicago, IL 60633 (773-646-1666). Funeral Services will be held the following day on May 16, 2020 from 9 AM until 10 AM. Prayers from chapel at 10 AM for a Funeral Procession to Queen of Heaven Cemetery of Hillside, IL for interment.

Martha will remain in the hearts of her family and friends, and all of the people whose life she touched with her warm and friendly kindness. May God bless her soul.
