Mario Humberto Martinez age 45, formerly of South Chicago, passed away on January 8, 2020. Life partner of Michelle Ayala for 16 years. Loving father of Mario Jr., the late Julian, Angel, Marcos, Mariano and Madeline. Loving son of Socorro and Ramona Martinez. Beloved brother of Jose (Elizabeth), Silvia (Everado), Martha (Jose Manuel), Eliseo (Lisa), Arturo (Janice), Armando (Lupe), Elizabeth (Juan Carlos) and Brenda (Azeddine). Loving Uncle and Great Uncle to many nieces and nephews whom he loved. Mario was the 7th of 9 siblings and the youngest son. Mario was a bricklayer by trade. He loved spending time with his family, friends, and his beloved pets. He had a heart of gold, was an amazing soul and was very humble. When he walked into a room his presence was felt. He loved all types of music .

Visitation will be on Friday, January 17, 2020 from 3 PM until 8 PM at Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch: 13300 S. Houston Ave. Chicago, IL 60633 (773-646-1666). Funeral Service to be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 7 AM until 8 AM. Prayers service to commence at 8 AM for an 8:45 AM Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church of South Chicago. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Mario will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
