In Loving Memory of Marilyn P. Gloria

Marilyn P. Gloria (nee Almeida) age 72, of Hammond, formerly of South Chicago passed away on February 17, 2017. Marilyn was a devoted mother and homemaker, and she was a dedicated parishioner of the First Baptist Church of Hammond. She enjoyed many outdoor activities while spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marilyn loved gardening, taking care of her flowers and many pets. Her hobbies also included sewing and artwork. Beloved daughter of late Arthur and Furtune Almeida, loving mother of late Sharon Galvan, Janie Gloria, Arthur Gloria, Arlene Martinez, late Joseph Martinez and Tiffany Martinez. Cherished grandmother and great-grandmother of many, loving sister of Louie Almeida, Johnny Almeida, late James Almeida and Carol Almeida. Visitation will be on Monday, February 27, 2017 from 2 PM until 8 PM at the Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch 13300 S. Houston Ave. Chicago, IL 60633 (773-646-1666). Prayer service to commence at 6:30 PM with Pastor Danny Clubb officiating. Interment private. Marilyn will be dearly missed by family and friends.
