Maria Elvira Sanchez (nee Villalpando) age 75 of Hegewisch passed away on November 16, 2017. Maria was a devoted mother of 10 children, loving wife, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and family activities. Maria was devoted to her Catholic faith. Beloved daughter of late Antonio and Asuncion Villalpando, loving wife of late Roberto Sanchez, cherished mother of Jose, David, Maricela, Roberto Jr., Victor, Jose L, Juan Carlos, Ana, Lola and Edith. Loving sister of Adalberto, late Javier, Anita, Bernabe, Juan, Avelina, late Guadalupe, Celia, Teresa, Gustavo and Salvador. Dearest grandmother and great-grandmother of many.

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 2 PM until 9 PM at the Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch 13300 S. Houston Ave. Chicago, IL 60633 (773-646-1666). Funeral service will be on Monday, November 20, 2017 from 8 AM until 9 Am. Prayers from chapel at 9 AM for 10 AM Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church of South Chicago. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Maria will be dearly missed by family and friends.
