Manuel Garcia

Manuel Garcia age 72 of Hegewisch formerly of South Chicago passed away on June 17, 2019. Manuel was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a retired steel worker of Republic Steel after 32 years of service, and was dedicated to his Catholic faith. Beloved son of late Jose and Ladislada Garcia, loving husband of Minerva Garcia, cherished father of Manuel Garcia Jr., Christina Garcia and Miguel (Catherine) Garcia. Dearest grandfather and great-grandfather to many. Honorable friend of many. Visitation will be on Friday, June 21, 2019 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch, 13300 S. Houston Ave. Chicago, IL 60633 (773-646-1666). Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 7:30 AM until 8:30 AM. Prayers from chapel at 8 AM for 9 AM Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church of South Chicago. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Manuel will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
