Linda Godlewski (née Sipulski) of Chicago, passed away peacefully at the age of 76 surrounded by her loving family on January 5, 2026.

Linda was the beloved daughter of the late John and Jacqueline Sipulski; dear sister of the late Joann (Ken) Ambrose and Cynthia (Ron) Robbins. She was a loving and devoted mother to Michael (Carla) Godlewski and Amy Godlewski, with whom she shared a deep and enduring bond. She was a cherished grandmother to Caleb and Dylan Godlewski and a devoted aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Linda was also a hardworking woman throughout her life to ensure her family was taken care of and her home was filled with happiness and beautiful memories on the holidays. The simple moments with family and friends gave Linda a soul filled with happiness and joy. Linda was a genuine and resilient woman whose character was well demonstrated throughout her 34 years of service to Much Shelist Law Firm (muchlaw.com), serving as a Legal Secretary who took pride in her work, gave her career all she had, and most of all never stopped working for the greater good of the clients and legal matters at stake – a truly selfless person and critical asset to the Law Firm.

Throughout her life, Linda met many moments of adversity with remarkable strength, resilience, and quiet grace;  never complaining or allowing hardship to dim her spirit. Her unwavering love for her family and friends was the steady force that carried her through even the most difficult times. Kind-hearted, generous, and sincere, she had a way of making everyone feel seen and valued. It was impossible to know her without loving her, and she leaves behind a legacy of compassion, strength, and deep devotion.

In lieu of flowers, her memory may best be honored through donations made in her name to the American Cancer Society, the Northwestern Memorial Foundation, or PAWS Chicago.
