Linda Campbell, of Hegewisch, passed away surrounded by her loving children.

Linda was truly one-of-a-kind, spirited, quick-witted, and full of life. Known for her humor, warmth, and generous heart, she made a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A familiar face in the Hegewisch, Burnham, and Lansing communities, Linda spent many years bartending at Tally Ho in Burnham, where she was known for her welcoming personality and the way she made everyone feel at home. Later, she worked at TJ Maxx, where she took great pride in her work and had a special knack for finding a good bargain.

Linda's home was always open to family and friends. She was endlessly generous, always willing to share what she had and offer support to those in need. Though she could be strong and outspoken, her kindness and compassion defined her.

She was the proud mother of Shawn Zurawski (Campbell), Jason Campbell, Ryan Campbell, and the late Brittni Campbell. She was the loving daughter of Genevieve Campbell and the late John Campbell, and sister to LaDonna Campbell and Larry Campbell. She also leaves behind twelve grandchildren and her beloved dog, Pebbles, who brought her great joy.

Linda will be remembered for her strength, humor, and heart. Her light burned brightly and though it was extinguished too soon, its warmth will endure forever.

A celebration of life service will be announced and held at a later date.
