Laura "Huv" Solis, age 65, of Chicago passed away February 12, 2023. Beloved daughter of the late Josephine and the late Alvaro Solis; loving sister of the late Mary Ann Aguilera, the late Alfonso (Isabel) Najera and late Albert Solis; fond aunt of Julie Ann (Samuel), Richard, Susan, Corinne (Peter), Alfonso, Robert (Sarah), and Maria (James); dear great-aunt and great-great-aunt of many and fur mom to Manny. Huv was loving and caring towards her family and friends.  She was known for baking delicious cakes and other desserts for birthdays and special occasions.  She loved Elvis and her favorite color was purple. Huv served her community for many years through her job as an employment coach and mentor for adults with special needs. Huv will be greatly missed. Arrangements entrusted to Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch: 13300 S. Houston Ave., Chicago, IL 60633. Visitation will be on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm. Prayer service to follow at noon. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL 60805.
