Jose G. Ramos (AKA Negro)

Late parents Aurelio Ramos and Isabel Mercado, Late Brothers Efrian Ramos, Manuel Ramos, and Nestor Ramos; Living Brother Jose Ramos and his son Jose Ramos Jr.; His Grandchildren Andrea Ramos, Isabel Ramos, Delilah Ramos, Lilly Ramos, his daughter Maricela Andrade (aka Sally), Grandchildren Suzanna Garcia, Carlos Andrade, Sergio Andrade; Great Grandchildren Paul Garcia Jr., Julian Garcia, Ariana Garcia, Abigail Munirar, and Matilda Munirar.

He was born in Puerto Rico, came to the United States and worked at a farm. That's where he met Consuelo. Then, got married, had two kids, and worked at a Steel Mill. He loved Western movies, he loved to joke around a lot, and he was the nicest, kindest man ever! He always had a smile on his face. He liked to hang out in the garage and the basement listening to his music. When there were family gatherings, he loved being around them and truly loved his entire family and all of his friends. He was very close to his only living brother and they always joked around a lot, saying to each other "Hi brother!" responding back "Hi brother!" Jose lived for the small moments and held all of his family and friends very near and dear to his heart and soul. May all of his memories be for a blessing.

Funeral Arrangements entrusted to Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch: 13300 S Houston Ave., Chicago, IL, 60633. Visitation will be on Friday, October 25, 2024 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Service to follow on Saturday from 8:00 AM until 9:00 AM. Prayers from Chapel at 8:30 AM for 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church of South Chicago. The Funeral Mass will conclude all Public Services for Jose. Interment Private
