Jose Luis Mota (Joey) age 57, of Chicago, IL passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023. Joey enjoyed taking fishing trips and going to the casino with family. In addition, Joey loved a good boxing match and old karate movies. He loved and enjoyed talking to everyone in the family. If anyone had a problem you would call Joey because he had all the answers. Joey is preceded in death by his mother, Irma Mota. Beloved son of Jose Late (Irma). Loving brother of Angelica (Oscar) and Humberto (Sarah). Adored Uncle of Ryan Alejandro, Denis, Brayan and Nelly. Treasured Cousin and Friend to Many.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch:13300 S. Houston Ave. Chicago, IL  60633 (773-646-1666). Funeral Service will be on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 8:00 am until 9:00 am. Prayers from Chapel at 9:00 am for 10:00 am Funeral Mass at St. Andrew The Apostle Catholic Church of Calumet City, IL. Interment Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.

Joey will be deeply missed by family and friends.
