Jose Guadalupe Becerra Medina age 59 of Hammond, formerly of Chicago passed away on July 1, 2017. Jose was retired from manufacturing after many years of service and he was devoted to his family and friends. Loving son of late Francisco and Bibiana Becerra, beloved husband of 24 years to Silvia Becerra Sanchez, cherished father of Alexis Becerra Sanchez, dearest brother of Francisco, Jose, Manual, Jesus, Chon, late Rafael, Maria, Trinidad, Josefina, Elizabeth and Maria Guadalupe. Visitation will be on Friday July 7, 2017 from 2 PM until 8 PM at the Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch 13300 S. Houston Ave. Chicago, IL 60633 (773-646-1666), and on Saturday July 8, 2017 from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM. Prayers from Chapel at 9:30 AM for 10 AM Funeral Mass at St Margaret Mary Catholic Church of Hammond. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
