Jorge Ayala age 73 of the South Eastside of Chicago passed away on October 22, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Jorge enjoyed fishing, gardening, and cooking.  He was a very loving caring person to everyone he knew. He genuinely loved and cared for everyone around him like family. Beloved by many who loved him as a father.

Jorge is the beloved husband of Margarita Ayala. Loving father of Juan Ayala, Jorge Ayala, Alejandra Cortez (Ayala), and Nallely Ayala. Cherished grandfather and great-grandfather to 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, Perla Ayala, Oscar Ayala, Victor Cortez, Michael Cortez, Anthony Ayala, Aiden Mota, Julianna Mota and great-grandchild Ethan Cortez.

Arrangements entrusted to Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch: 13300 S. Houston Ave., Chicago, IL 60633. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 8:30 am until 9:30 am. Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church of South Chicago. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery of Calumet City.
