Javier Avila Jr. passed away on October 19, 2026, at the age of 34.

Born on May 20, 1992, Javier was born and raised in California. He was the cherished son of Javier Avila Sr. and Sandra Cardenas, and a beloved brother and family member whose presence brought meaning to the lives of those around him.

Known to many as Javi, he lived day by day and embraced life to the fullest. He was remembered for his generous spirit, his kind heart, and his willingness to help anyone in need. He left a lasting mark on everyone who had the privilege of meeting him, and his presence will be remembered with deep love and gratitude.

Javi’s memory lives on through the stories shared about him, the laughter he inspired, and the countless moments his family and loved ones were blessed to spend by his side. He will always remain a part of the hearts of those who loved him, and he will be forever loved, endlessly missed, and remembered by all whose lives he touched. May he rest in eternal peace, always holding a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Funeral Arrangements entrusted to Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch: 13300 S. Houston Ave., Chicago, Illinois 60633. Visitation for Javier Avila Jr. will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Prayer Service to commence at 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Interment to follow at a later date, at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery, 719 E Harding Way, Stockton, CA 95204.
