Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Gonzalo Rodriguez, age 67, in his home on January 30th, 2024 in Ogden, Utah. During his last days, he was surrounded by his loving wife and children. Gonzalo was born on August 30, 1956, in Michoacan, Mexico, to Francisco Rodriguez and Concepcion Escobedo. He is survived by his beloved wife Gloria Rodriguez, his children Brenda, Juanita, Jessica, and Jeorge. Grandchildren: Leilani, Ariana, Olivia, David, Ivan, and Noel. Siblings: Margarita, Rebecca, Maria, Araceli, Olga and Alma. Godchildren, nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by brother Miguel Rodriguez.

Gonzalo was a remarkable individual who touched the hearts of many. He was not only an exceptional husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, but also someone who was always there to lend a helping hand. He had a passion for fishing, traveling, preparing his famous carnitas- were loved by all who had the pleasure of tasting them. Gonzalo also enjoyed dancing and had an insatiable curiosity for learning new techniques to expand his skills. We will forever cherish the memories we have of Gonzalo and will dearly miss him until we are reunited once again.
