Francisco O. Cruz age 78 of South Chicago passed away on March 15, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Francisco came to the United States from Jalisco, MX when he was 13 years old. He worked at Wisconsin Steel on the east-side for 18 years and opened his bar "Pancho's" on 88 ^th & Exchange in the mid 1980's and operated until 1993. Francisco eventually worked at a car dealership on 87 ^th & Commercial until he retired. He loved spending time with his family and loved to travel and visit the casino. In his last month's he enjoyed the company of his family.

Beloved son of Jose Cruz and Soledad Ortega Cruz. Loving father of Maria Vega, Yolanda Cruz, Patricia, Ignacio Maciel, Sandra, George Martinez. Loving brother of Floretino Zuñiga (late), Antioña Zuñiga, Jose luis Cruz (late), Estella Cruz, Jesus Cruz (late), Dephino Gomez Maria, Jose Cruz (late). Loving uncle to nieces and nephews. Cherished grandfather of Sara, Leonardo, Alicia, Bianca, George Jr, Graciela, Francisco, Enrique, Maria, Anthony, Angel, Jesse, Marcos, Daniel and Daniella. Cherished great-grandfather of Simeon, Kiara, Mariah, Michelle, Matthew, Khole, Nyomi, Isabella, leia, Milán, Jolissa,  Enrique Jr., George III, Joceli and violeta.

Visitation for Francisco will be held on Friday, March 19 ^th , 2021 from 3 PM until 9 PM. Prayers Service 8 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 20 ^th , 2021 from 8 AM until 9 AM. Prayers from Chapel at 9 AM, for 10 AM Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church of South Chicago. Interment Saint Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL 60805.
