Elizabeth "Betty" Peak (nee Stanford) age 88 of Hegewisch passed away on November 13, 2017. Betty was retired from John Hancock Insurance Company after 20 years of service. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Betty was dedicated to her Catholic faith at St. Florian Church and served the Church in many capacities. Beloved daughter of late Albert and Charlotte Stanford, loving sister of late Albert Stanford, loving wife of late Robert Peak, cherished mother of William (Mary) Peak and Michael (Kathy) Peak, dearest grandmother of Jennifer (Jorge), Jason (Jessica), Jeremy (Amy), Joshua and Jessica and fond great-grandmother of Jaxson, Julianne, Annalee, Katelyn, Ben, Eli, Xavi and Phin. Visitation will be on Friday, November 17, 2017, from 2 PM until 8 PM at the Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch, 13300 S. Houston Ave. Chicago, IL 60633 (773-646-1666). Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 8 AM until 9 AM. Prayers from Chapel at 9 AM for 9:30 AM Funeral Mass at St. Florian Church of Hegewisch. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. Betty will be dearly missed by family and friends.
