Dorothy Marie Novakovich (nee Kapczynski) age 78 of Marshfield, MO formerly of Hegewisch and South Holland passed away on January 24, 2017. Dorothy was a retired secretary in Banking after many years of service, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Beloved daughter of late Joseph and Caroline Kapczynski. Beloved wife of Daniel J. Novakovich. Loving mother of John (Patty) Novakovich, Christine (Jack) Castelloni, Daniel (Dana) Novakovich and Gayle (Joe) Lentz. Cherished grandmother of Michelle, Steve, Kendal, Brandi, Taylor, Kirsten, Tyler and Danny. Step-grandmother of Tracy, Erin, Joe, Charity and Christopher. Dearest great-grandmother of Norah and Mason. Step-great-grandmother of Ellie and Coen. Loving sister of Carole Spottiswood and Tom Kapczynski. Loving aunt of Cassie, Caroline, Sheryl, Chuck and Tom. Visitation will be on Monday January 30, 2017 from 3 PM until 9 PM at the Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch 13300 S. Houston Ave. Chicago, IL 60633 (773-646-1666) and on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 8 AM until 9:30 AM.
