Consuelo P. Escalante age 93 of South Chicago passed away on November 20, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Consuelo was born in La Ceiba, Honduras, and came to the United States in 1961. Consuelo was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting, gardening and she was devoted to her Christian faith. Beloved daughter of late Rafael and Otilia Ponce. Beloved wife of late Julio C. Escalante, loving mother Martha J. Escalante, late Maria Kludzinski and late Alfred Escalante. Cherished grandmother of Jessica (Juan Roman Jr.) Kludzinski and Matthew Kludzinski. Loving sister of Marina, late Julia, late Rafael and late Maria Ramona.
