Chestine M. Trzupek (nee Lisek)

CHICAGO, IL – Chestine M. Trzupek (nee Lisek), age 83, of Chicago, passed away peacefully at home, with her family by her side, on Sunday, June 30, 2024. Loving wife of 64 years to Henry F. Trzupek. Beloved mother to Lee Ann (Donald) Kasper, Henry A. (Christine) Trzupek, Renee (Gary) Borowski, Nancy Trzupek, Victoria (Ronald) Brann, Peter (Jolynn) Trzupek; former son in law, Michael Przybyla; former daughter in law, Stacie Bellan. Cherished Grandmother to Kimberly (Nassar), Michelle (Brandon), Emma, Amanda (Nick), Ashley, Kristofer (Brittany), Taylor (Jason), Carrie, Lorren (Nick), Katie (Jaime) and Justin and great grandchildren, Lillian, Harper. Dear Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her two babies Chestine and Thomas; sister, Theresa (Daniel) Kalinowski, sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Barth Kosarko; parents, Peter and Chestine V. Lisek. Chestine, also known to many as Chris, lived her whole life in Hegewisch. She worked outside the home for 32 years,

enjoyed reading and exchanging books with family, neighbors and friends. Puzzle making was also a favorite past time. Chris and Hank loved conversation and a good pot of coffee, country music, the mountains in Colorado, the peacefulness in Connecticut, adventures in Michigan, Indiana, Tennessee and Florida, their own home they built together, and time spent with family, neighbors, friends, and parishioners from St. Florian, now Christ Our Light Church. She will be dearly missed.
