~In Loving Memory Of Celia Ornelas~

Celia Ornelas age 85, of the South East Side passed away on June 5, 2017. Celia retired from The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, where she was a cook for 10 years. Celia loved to wash clothes by hand and took pride in her home. She enjoyed keeping her house clean and immaculate. Celia loved to sing and was always in high spirits. Beloved daughter of  late Florentino and Josefa Ornelas. Devoted wife to her late husband Juan Marin. Cherished mother of  Celia (Jose) Villa, Mario, Gloria, Saul (Irma) Marin, Enrique, Juan, Joel, Jose Manuel, late Marco and Fernando. Dearest grandmother to  Lisa, Julissa, Carolina, Monica, Saul, Johnny, Selina, Saul, Paul, Cristian and Gollita. Celia's children want to thank her for always providing for them, and for all of the sacrifices that she made in life to push them forward. Her spirit of happiness and her singing will hum in the memory of all who's life she touched. Visitation will be on Thursday June 8, 2017 from 2 PM until 8 PM  at the Sadowski Funeral Home of  Hegewisch 13300 S. Houston Ave. Chicago, IL 60633 (773-646-1666). Funeral service will be held on Friday June 9, 2017 from 8 AM until 8:30 AM. Prayers from Chapel at 8:30 AM for a 10 AM Funeral Mass at St. Francis De Sales Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Celia will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
