Beverly Layne age 75, of Chicago passed away July 23, 2020. Long life companion of Otis Maxwell. Beloved mother of her only son Phillip Layne ( Roxanne Lopez). Adored sister of Marcia Miller, Jacqueline Bearden, Patricia Perry, Barbara Jones, and Herbert Wilson. Adored Grandmother to Phillip Layne III, Kiera Layne, Jayden Layne, Aiden Layne, Andrea Rebeles, and Edward Rebeles. Sweet great grandmother to Gianna Layne.

Beverly was loved by many people. She was a devoted RN at Cook County Hospital for over 20 years. She was caring and warm hearted. It showed in her commitment of taking care of others. She loved being a grandmother and was very happy to be a great grandmother as well. Her family and friends will miss her very much, But she will live in their hearts forever
