Arthur L. Myers age 94 of Manteno, formerly of Dolton, passed away on August 1, 2017. Arthur retired as a manager of Schenker Import & Export INC after many years of service. Arthur was a devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a WWII veteran of the US Army, and served in The European and Pacific theaters. Beloved son of late George and Catherine Myers. Loving husband of late Dorothy Myers (nee Kaiser-Novak). Cherished father of Mark (Rachel) Myers, Linda (Dennis) Eickmann and Timothy Myers. Dearest Papa of Christina (James) Snedeker, Samantha Myers. Dearest big Poppi of Theodore and Jonathon Snedeker. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Kankakee Valley Hospice in Arthur's name. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 9 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church of South Chicago. Interment private. Arthur will be dearly missed by family and friends.
