Angel Hernandez age 71 of South Chicago passed away on August 10 ^th , 2020. Angel enjoyed watching soccer and listening to great music. He remained devoted to his Catholic faith throughout his life, and worked hard for years as a professional landscaper. Angel found much joy in walking and playing with his grandchildren, raising his dogs, and being a great husband, father, and loyal friend to many.

Beloved son of late Jose and Margarita Hernandez. Loving husband of late Phyllis Hernandez (nee Rodriguez). Cherished father of Melissa, Margarita, Angel Jr., George, Javier, late Miguel, and Guadalupe. Loving grandfather to twenty-seven grandchildren. Fond friend of many.

Arrangements entrusted to Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch: 13300 S. Houston Ave. Chicago, IL 60633 (773-646-1666). Visitation for Angel will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2020 from 3 PM until 8 PM. Funeral Service to be held on Friday, August 21, 2020 from 8 AM until 9 AM. Prayers from chapel at 10 AM for 11 AM Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church of South Chicago. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery of Calumet City.

Angel will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
