Amelia Rodriguez 92 years old, late of Calumet City and Chicago passed away on June 6, 2025. Amelia was dedicated to her family and faith. Amelia was a women whom loved all of her family unconditionally. Mom prayed for everyone and never forgot anyone's Birthday. Amelia would without fail call you to sing Happy Birthday to you. Amelia thrived in the presence of visitors, she was such a social person. Amelia happily catered to her loved ones, if you came to visit, you left with a hot meal in your belly. While cooking she was at her best. Amelia was the beloved Daughter of late Indalecio and Julia Mirelez, loving Wife of Pablo Rodriguez for nearly 75 years, cherished Mother of Pablo Jr. {late Olga} Rodriguez, late Maria Elena {Lawrence} Campos, Ruben Rodriguez, Beloved  Grandmother to 7 grandchildren, many great and great great grandchildren and grand puppy Leila, Loving sister of late Petra {Domingo} Jimenez, late Rodo {Irene} Mirelez, late Gregorio {Eloise} Mirelez, late Yolanda Almagner, late Indalecio Jr. {Rosemary} Mirelez.

Funeral Arrangements for Amelia entrusted to Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch: 13300 S. Houston Ave., Chicago, IL 60633. Visitation for Amelia will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Prayer Service to commence at 4:00 PM. Funeral Service to follow on Friday June 13, 2025 from 8:30 AM until 10:00 AM. Prayers from chapel at 10:00 AM, for 11:00 AM Funeral Mass at Knock Church of Calumet City. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery of Calumet City.
