Alex Rosas, 38, of Hammond,  Indiana, passed away on July 23,2023. Alex was born on April 05,1985, to Emilana De Rosas and late Florentino Rosas in Wenatchee, Washington. Alex and Lucy met in Chicago and later married. Alex and Lucy went on to have three children, Alex Rosas Jr. ,Natalie Rosas and Sariah Rosas. Alex was a fun and loving person who enjoyed everyone's company. He loved spending time with his kids and all his family. He enjoyed listening to music, cooking out, playing basketball, riding bikes, video games, movies & taking selfies. He was a good-hearted person who always wanted  to help others. He liked to take long rides down Lake shore drive( picking up his hinies chicken in between). He made sure he enjoyed life to the fullest and always had a smile on his face.

Alex was predeceased by Father Florentino & brother Jose Luis. Alex is survived by Mother Emilana, brothers and sisters: Guadalupe, Tino, Jose, Marya, Azares, Lucia, Josefina (Edward Carrrillo), Blaine, and Judy. Also, many nieces and nephews as well as cousins, aunts, uncles & friends.

Arrangements entrusted to Sadowski Funeral Home. Visitation for Alex services will be held on Sunday, July 30, 2023 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral Service Monday, July 31, 2023 from 8:30 am until 9:30 am, prayers from chapel at 9 am for 10 am Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church of South Chicago. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery of Calumet City.
