Maria "Angie" Padilla

Maria "Angie" Padilla age 59, passed into the arms of the lord on August 31, 2019 in the company of her beloved children. Maria was born on May 24, 1960 in El Paso, TX to the late Eloisa Pena Diaz and Manuel Aguinaga. Maria is survived by her loving children: Patricia (Juan) Munoz, Omar (Nichole) Padilla, and Martin (Cecilia) Padilla. Maria will be greatly missed by her 6 grandchildren: Julissa Munoz, Gisell Munoz, Karyssa Padilla, Izrael Munoz, Ofelia Padilla, and Maritza Padilla. Maria will be fondly remebered by her siblings: the late Manuel Aguinaga, Rene Aguinaga, Jaime Aguinaga, Adrian Aguinaga, Olivia Martinez, and Alma Pena. Maria had a passion for travelling, painting, and dancing. She lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will always be remembered as a very strong woman with a beautiful soul, and she will always and forever live in our hearts. The celebration of life visitation for Maria will take place on Friday, September 6, 2019 from 3 PM until 9 PM  at Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch: 13300 S. Houston Ave. Chicago, IL 60633 (773-646-1666). Prayer service to commence at 7 PM. A Funeral serivce for Maria will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM. Prayers from chapel at 10:30 AM for Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery of Calumet City.
